The Sawmill Community Land Trust is a community-based development corporation whose principal purpose is to promote community ownership, long term affordability and economic opportunity through the community land trust model.
Membership is open to everyone who agrees with our mission. Your participation as either a General or Supporting Member will add to our community base and give us all a stronger voice in shaping Albuquerque's future. We have three categories of membership.
General Members are people who
- actively participate in SCLT
- reside in metropolitan Albuquerque
- pay annual dues
- attend an Orientation Meeting about SCLT
- attend any committee, Board or Annual meeting of the land trust at least once every 2 years
- participate in ownership of SCLT property by serving on committees, making nominations to the Board of Directors, and serving on the Board
- receive invitations to special events
- receive SCLT newsletters and important notices
Supporting Members are people who
- make annual donations to SCLT
- receive invitations to groundbreakings and other special events
- receive SCLT newsletters and important notices
SCLT Leaseholders are people who
- live on or have a business on the Land Trust and are automatic members of SCLT
Annual Membership Fees (per person):

If you prefer, you can pay your yearly dues by volunteering your efforts to
