On October 25, 2007 our neighborhood got its very own playground. SCLT, supplying the site, volunteers, childcare, food and music, partnered with The Home Depot Foundation, who supplied the play equipment and volunteers. KaBOOM!, a non-profit that organizers playground builds, oversaw the design and construction of the play equipment. About 200 people came together to construct the colorful play area. The new playground is located east of the Arboleda de Vida plaza, come and enjoy it.
