Connie Chavez, Executive Director, cchavez@sawmillclt.org
Connie has over 15 years experience in administrative management for non-profit organizations. Connie joined Sawmill CLT in 2003, was appointed Associate Director in 2004, and then Executive Director in October 2005. Prior to that, she woked as the Portfolio Manager/Information Systems Manager for the New Mexico Community Development Loan Fund, a state-wide loan fund for small business and non-profit groups. She grew up in the Sawmill/Wells Park Neighborhood and holds both a historical perspective and a future vision for the area. She is the mother of two lovely daughters, and three very special granddaughters.

Debbra Colman, Real Estate Development Director, dcolman@sawmillclt.org
Debbra has over 20 years experience in real estate development across the country. In 1994 she became state director of Bank of America's real estate department, and, in 2000, she joined the Historic District Improvement Company as their Executive Project Manager. Debbra was in charge of the design, construction and leasing of the downtown Century 14 Theatre block.

Christina Cosme, Finance/Development Manager, ccosme@sawmillclt.org
Christina joined the Sawmill CLT staff in January 2009 with several years of experience in nonprofit administration and management. She moved to Albuquerque in 2004 to work as an AmeriCorps* VISTA Volunteer for ACCION NM focusing on outreach activities and organizational development. After completing a year of service with ACCION, she spent three years working in several capacities for the New Mexico Community Development Loan Fund, a nonprofit microfinance organization. Christina has an undergraduate degree from Stanford University.

Valerie Crosby, Program Assistant, vcrosby@sawmillclt.org
Valerie has a lifelong passion for helping people that has taken many forms over the years. She has worked in customer service in the past and currently teaches yoga. As Program Assistant, she now has the opportunity to help people find affordable housing. Valerie hails from the Pacific Northwest and both she and her cats are very excited to escape the clouds.

RobbieAnn Muhammad, Homebuyer Counselor, rmuhammad@sawmillclt.org
RobbieAnn is an Albuquerque native with several years experience in the real estate industry. Prior to joining the organization, she worked as a realtor, serving many first time home buyers and low and moderate income families. Her experience with these clients demonstrated the limited housing options and difficult challenges presented by Albuquerque's real estaste market. The opportunity to serve the people within this range of income and still sell houses really excited her. She is proud to be a member of the Sawmill Community Land Trust staff and community and hopes to be a part of it for many years.

Betsy Najjar, Membership Coordinator, bnajjar@sawmillclt.org
Betsy is a leaseholder within Sawmill CLT's Arbolera de Vida community and has been active in neighborhood groups and CLT governance since 1997. She has an MFA from the University of New Mexico and has lived in Albuquerque for over 20 years. Betsy oversees CLT membership development, the "Noticias" newsletter, and assists with the coordination of community events.

Vicente Quevedo, Community Organizer, vquevedo@sawmillclt.org
Vicente resides in the South Valley and comes from a legacy of community and labor organizing within his family. He has direct experience facilitating community-based planning processes and coordinating political/issue based social justice campaigns. He has worked with various traditional communities in Albuquerque to address a multitude of community concerns including permanently affordable housing, community & leadership development, and agricultural preservation. He holds a Masters Degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of New Mexico where he also serves as a part time instructor.

Andrea Quintana, Administrative Assistant, aquintana@sawmillclt.org
Andrea has experience working for nonprofits in a variety of roles. She enjoys her work at Sawmill CLT because she feels like her efforts really make a difference. Andrea is a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and loves helping to build a sense of community in her hometown.
